Contemporary Math (Quantitative Reasoning)
This course is intended for non-STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) majors. Topics include introductory treatments of sets and logic, financial mathematics, probability, and statistics with appropriate applications. Number sense, reasoning, estimation, technology, and communication should be embedded throughout the course. Additional topics may be covered. Prerequisite: TSI met in Math or "C" or better in MATH 0322 or concurrently enrolled in STAR MATH 0320 or passing in MATH 0022. Lec 3, Cr 3
