Biology I for Non-Science Majors
This course provides a survey of biological principles with an emphasis on humans, including chemistry of life, cells, structure, function, and reproduction. This introductory course is designed to provide non-science majors a conceptual approach to topics ranging from molecular and cellular biology, to genetics, and biotechnology as they relate to current events, cultural, and societal issues. Recommended Corequisite: BIOL 1108 or prior credit. Prerequisite: TSI met in math, reading, and writing or equivalent. Lec 3, Cr 3
